BUILDING THE STEM PIPELINE THROUGH TECHNICAL SKILLS TRAINING

The Finger Lakes STEM Hub and Monroe Community College are hosting a forum to promote the need for, and benefits of, increased numbers of youth entering into STEM careers requiring technical skills training. It will provide educators and other youth leaders with critical information to motivate youth and grow our regional workforce.

The event will feature a keynote address by MaryEllen Elia, Commissioner of Education and President of the University of the State of New York, regarding career and technical education and related performance areas for public schools. Superintendents, counselors, Board of Education members, parents, and labor, workforce, and youth leaders are encouraged to attend.

More details, including registration information, to come.
