The Finger Lakes STEM Hub is a catalyst for collaboration among business, education, community organizations,  government agencies and passionate individuals to advance the teaching and learning of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines for sustained economic vitality.

STEM Recognition Application is open for one more week!

Each year, the Finger Lakes STEM Hub celebrates excellence in STEM education across our region by highlighting programs in both formal and informal settings that are bringing STEM education to the next level for area students.   

The application deadline is coming up soon:  March 17th.  Full details on how to apply can be found on the Hub Website.

Churchville Chili Block Kids Day

block kids materials providedOn Thursday, January 30th Churchville Elementary School second graders partnered with NAWIC (National Association of Women In Construction) chapter 314  to participate in a Block Kids Building Competition.  Second grade teacher, Jennifer Tracey Brush, helped to organize this activity.  Jennifer’s family from the Tracey Door Company includes her niece Jenna Stundner, who is a member of NAWIC and worked with the school along with NAWIC staff to bring Block Kids into the school.
