Executive Advisory Committee

PURPOSE:

  • Advises and Counsels the Executive Director in matters of governance, administration, operations, programs, finances and strategic plan
  • Responsible for the employment and compensation of the Executive Director

FUNCTIONS:

  • Meets quarterly with the Executive Director
  • Reviews the status of the Hub in general, problem solves and offers suggestions
  • Reviews the status of current and prospective initiatives and actions
  • Reviews proposed annual budget and the status of income and expenditures quarterly
  • Reviews status of Partnership Opportunities Program and donor support
  • Assists in identifying and acquiring support
  • Assists in the establishment and review of the strategic plan
  • Represents from time to time the Hub at various functions in the absence of or in addition to the Executive Director

SELECTION OF MEMBERS:

  • The Executive Director shall annually select for three-year staggered terms individuals to serve on the Executive Advisory Committee who collectively represent the diversity of the membership of a STEM ecosystem.
  • Network members shall be informed of the selection.
  • Terms may be renewable and/or may be extended at the discretion of the Executive Director
