Executive Advisory Committee
PURPOSE:
- Advises and Counsels the Executive Director in matters of governance, administration, operations, programs, finances and strategic plan
- Responsible for the employment and compensation of the Executive Director
FUNCTIONS:
- Meets quarterly with the Executive Director
- Reviews the status of the Hub in general, problem solves and offers suggestions
- Reviews the status of current and prospective initiatives and actions
- Reviews proposed annual budget and the status of income and expenditures quarterly
- Reviews status of Partnership Opportunities Program and donor support
- Assists in identifying and acquiring support
- Assists in the establishment and review of the strategic plan
- Represents from time to time the Hub at various functions in the absence of or in addition to the Executive Director
SELECTION OF MEMBERS:
- The Executive Director shall annually select for three-year staggered terms individuals to serve on the Executive Advisory Committee who collectively represent the diversity of the membership of a STEM ecosystem.
- Network members shall be informed of the selection.
- Terms may be renewable and/or may be extended at the discretion of the Executive Director
