The Greater Rochester After-School Alliance (GRASA) is looking for presenters who can deliver a workshop or two at their February Summit. This is the 7th Annual Summit, which is a free event is held at East High on Tuesday, February 18th, from 8 am til 5 pm.
Workshops are provided to after school front line staff, and may also include teachers and other agency staff who work with youth in various capacities. There are 8 total slots for STEM, 2 sessions at a time, running in 90-minute blocks. The time frames are 9:15 – 10:45 am, 11:00 – 12:30 pm; 1:30 – 3:00 pm and 3:15 – 4:45 pm. You may fill as many slots as your schedule and interest allow. There can be repetition in the sessions, since they expect between 120-170 people to register and participate. This year, Out-of-School-Time (OST) workers will have to take a SEL tool training that will take up 2 session slots, so it is conceivable that topics could be offered twice, reducing the number of individual titles needed.
The RFP for presentation proposals is linked below. Applications are due by Wednesday January 15th to allow for planning time. Please see the RFP for additional details and contact information.
