Churchville Chili Block Kids Day

block kids materials providedOn Thursday, January 30th Churchville Elementary School second graders partnered with NAWIC (National Association of Women In Construction) chapter 314  to participate in a Block Kids Building Competition.  Second grade teacher, Jennifer Tracey Brush, helped to organize this activity.  Jennifer’s family from the Tracey Door Company includes her niece Jenna Stundner, who is a member of NAWIC and worked with the school along with NAWIC staff to bring Block Kids into the school. 

Business Entrepreneurship Exploring Post Starting Soon

 Explorer Post 1732 is getting ready to kick off and is looking for a few more students.  A late January kick off is planned, and the program will take place once a week on Tuesdays from 6-7:30 at the University of Rochester.

The cost for the program is $47.75 which covers membership as an Explorer and insurance coverage as well.  Curriculum flyer is linked below.
